J'utilise pas non plus les drivers proprios (même si je dois sûrement avoir un peu de propriétaire qui traîne).

Sandeman : Comme dit plus haut, les drivers proprios posent problème : dépendant d'un éditeur (composite, failles), casse à chaque noyaux, pas disponible pour toutes les plateformes ou tous les OS, pas libre par essence, donc banni de certains pc purs (sages et innocents)...

Sinon l'ouverture des specs est une bonne nouvelle, d'un coté cela permet de pouvoir améliorer les drivers libre existant, mais en plus on pourra ameliorer l'utilisation des gpu pour les logiciels de modélisation 3D et autres.

En plus sachant qu'AMD aide bien la communautée opensource, tout les drivers de son chipset geode par exemple sont opensource, peut etre meme sous gpl, je pense que ce ne sont pas des paroles en l'air.

J'ai un peu de mal à vous suivre ... que ça soit ma 9800Pro ou la X600 intégrée du portable, avec les drivers proprio je n'ai pas vraiment de problèmes, y compris à toper les 250fps sous Beryl ...

moi j'ai toujours une dent contre nVidia qui remonte à l'époque de la sortie surprise de la GeForce 4 (avec baisse de 50% de la GeForce 3 Ti 500 que j'avais achetée la veille... 'culés) mais la prochaine carte en sera probablement une...

m'enfin bon quand les finances, toussa ...

J'utilise aussi driver proprio pour ma carte nVidia et que ça marche pas mal.

Mais c'est un peu à défaut d'autre chose. D'ailleurs, ça fait un moment que je me tâte pour revendre ma carte mère et ma carte graphique pour acheter un carte en G965 qui intégre un chip graphique suffisant pour mes besoins, qui tourne avec un driver libre et qui consomme moins.... peut-être cet été.

Je viens de lire sur QuebecOs que le gouvernement Japonais allai transférer son parc informatique sous Linux et encourager le logiciel libre dans les écoles, administrations, etc.... . Aprés, une région en Espagne et l'assemblée nationale en France, c'est un pas de géant pour Linux qu'un gouvernement place Linux comme une prioritée nationale.

Qu'est ce qu'un modo anti pub ?

Je connais des gens qui sont contre la pub (dont un collectif). Je connais des modos qui appliquent un règlement indépendamment de leurs opinions personnelles.

Mais je ne vois pas ce qu'est un modo anti quelque chose (au sein de son rôle de modo, chacun est libre de ses opinions personnelles).

Un modo anti-pub... fait selon moi son travail de suppression de la pub. Et comme je savais pas trop si une offre de stage rentrait dans cette catégorie...

Quelqu'un saurait pourquoi même si je dis a firefox de mettre les polices @ 12 et en stipulant de pas prendre les polices des sites mais de ce que j'ai dis de mettre, j'ai des sites ou je suis obligé de faire un ctrl + - pour réduire la taille du texte --> Je vise le site d'orange en particulier et la partie Documentation du site de ubuntu (fr).

Si quelqu'un a une configuration sympa pour avoir des polices cool, clair, belle etc... ca m'interesse
