EDIT: "quiz" et non pas "quizz" (adresse et post modifiés ) The Computer Quiz All the answers are related to, or sound like, parts of a computer. 1. What computer part would be something suitable for a contortionist's backbone? 2. What computer part sounds like an alcoholic drink made from the centres of sunflowers? 3. What computer part is made from brains and French fries? 4. Which computer program sounds like it could be useful to look out of when you've run out of vegetables? 5. What piece of hardware is "really groovy" according to Albert and also helpful in hospitals? 6. This piece of hardware is particulary useful for rodents without electricity in their homes. 7. This computer part soundslike a reply to the question "What did you do to the lawns?". 8. This part of the computer world sounds like an answer to the question "Where are the fish you caught?" 9. This computer part is where you might hang your metallic door entry devices. 10. The answer to this question is simple and has two parts. Firstly, what attire is appropriate for weeds, and secondly, what attire is appropriate for tough nuts? 1. The hell if I know, but I would suggest a good chiropractic therapy 2. Ewww sunflowers, I'm more into beer or whiskey myself 3. The same part that's also great to cook an egg 4. You go ahead and buy crappy stuff there, I got some fresh veggies back in the garden in my backyard 5. Oh don't tell me you still remember that old 3DFX commercial 6. A candle, hey how else are you supposed to see in the dark, those things aren't quite the most brilliant creatures (ohemgee what an awful pun ) 7. I think it's better if you DON'T ask me that question, especially if you have a weak mind 8. Why do you keep asking so many questions about food? Quit it, you make me hungry! (by the way good thing you asked, I think I left them in the bucket outside for about a week, woooo stinky! ) 9. What do you mean? I usually have a sledgehammer ready if the door handle doesn't work 10. A LUMBERJACK! Conclusion: I seriously suck at riddles Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites

Sweet Angel Posté(e) le 25 janvier 2006 Partager Posté(e) le 25 janvier 2006 Hi everybody !! Bon,je vous explique le problème ... Je dois préparer un exposé en anglais ( of course ) dont le thème est " strine" ( or Australian slang ). ). ( par exemple sur un thème " parents and children : life values" ... la spaking activity c'était a role playing . Student A : role of the mother-strict umpbringing. Student B : The father-takes things lightly. Student C : child- troubles at school. and try to find solutions ) Donc voilà;je ne vois pas quelle situation d'échange trouver .... peut être Student A : English student and Student B : Australian student . The 2 meet and they discuss about one topic ( but which one ?! mayble including slang which is my theme )... So,if you can help me finding situations .... dsl si je passe de l'anglais au français et du français à l'anglais .. j'espère que vous avez compris et si vous avez des idées ou bien des doutes,n'hésitez pas !! envoyez moi des MPs ou répondez ici ! thanksssss ! ASSKICK Posté(e) le 26 janvier 2006 Partager Posté(e) le 26 janvier 2006 Ah, slangs, gota love these, mostly when you never heard em and absolutely have no clue what he's talking about good thing there's a dictionary just for this kind of stuff http://www.urbandictionary.com/ yey! As for the RP thingy, the hard part is to find something that's actually, in some way, interesting for the students, so that they can talk for 5 or 10 minutes, as most are just too lazy and try to talk the least possible (yeah I often got that in school too). Maybe give them a few options to choose from, so they at least get to pick the most appealing to them. (The Australian one could be funny though, if he knows how to talk with that australian accent "G'Day mate!" ) Though all that doesn't help much now does it? Maybe you could print a few comic strips and give em to the students (preferably pic some including slangs or puns) and let them talk about it. (If you want I have nice collection of links to various comics back at home ) Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites
