Soux Windows XP Professionnel, j'essaye d'ouvrire Linux (ubuntu ou Mandriva) par Virtual box,

mais au demarrage il se plante et affiche:

"unable to allocate and lock memory .The virtual machine will be paused.

Please close applications to free up memory or close VM..

ID Erreur : HostMemoryLow

Sévérité : Erreur non Fatale"

Avez vous une idée de la cause?

    J'ai 512 Mo, et j'ai alloué 512 aussi pour Linux dans Virtualbox.

    Tu ne peux pas allouer plus de mémoire que tu n'en as a disposition. A mon avis, tu devrais allouer 128Mo pour ton linux, puisque tu as toujours windows qui tourne derrière et qui doit te prendre au bas mot 384Mo de ram.
