Bonjour

Je viens d'installer Ubuntu sur mon ancien pc et je voudrais installer le logiciel de C++ kate je pense qu'il est inclu sur le package ubuntu mais je n'arrive pas à l'installer

bizarre, je suis persuadé qu'il est sur les dépots de base (main, restricted)

Dans ajout/suppression de programme, tu as bien choisi : tous les logiciels disponible ? dans l'option de recherche ?

Rajoute les dépots universe et multiverse sinon, et recherche kate a nouveau ...

Non j'ai essayé de faire une recherche ça n'a pas marché j'ai aussi télécharges les universes et multiverses mais il ne trouve toujours pas kate alors j'ai ajouté main et restricted mais encore une fois il ne trouve rien....que faire???

Essaye de faire un [aptitude update&& aptitude upgrade [/code] avant et vérifie ton /etc/apt/sources.list qu'il n'y ai pas un vilain mix de paquets.

Tu devrais revoir ton fichier sources, virer le cdrom et mettre les repository officiels.

Tu as du mélanger les quotes, c'est incompréhensible.

Voila c'est réglé j'ai réussi à installer kate grâce à toi un grand merci pour ta patience et je vais qd meme aller faire un tour sur les liens que tu proposes pour en apprendre un peu plus sur ubuntu

Juste entre paranthèses, tu aurais installé Kubuntu directement que tu aurais eu kate d'office, je pense.

là tu as un beau mélange de lib gnome et kde co-installées ... cela dit tant que ça marche ...

Juste pour compléter ce que dit sandeman : kate n'est qu'un éditeur de texte parmis tant d'autre, certes assez bien adapté à la programmation. Tu as "geany" comme équivalent gnome, qui sera bien mieux intégré à ton bureau, et au moins aussi efficace
