Bonjour,

j'ai un Hitachi HDS721010CLA de 1To, et je trouve qu'il est très bruyant !

En fait, par moment on l'entends "gratter" à mort, or, il est pas fragmenté, l'OS ( Win7) viens d'etre fraichement installer en dual boot avec une autre partition Seven .

Est ce un problème récurrent sur ce modèle de Disque dur ?

    Effectivement, c'est un des disques durs les plus bruyants en accès.

    Tu peux activer l'Automatic Acoustic Management avec HDDScan (dans "Features"): ça réduira grandement le bruit (surtout au minimum), mais tu vas perdre un peu en performances.

    Peut-être qu'il faut activer le S.M.A.R.T. dans les options du bios de la carte-mère.

    Au pire, tu sais aussi le faire avec le Feature Tool d'Hitachi, que tu graves sur un CD, et sur lequel tu bootes au démarrage.

    Dans les Features, il y a l'option Automatic Acoustic Management ou AAM.
