Attention achat gigabyte(P965) et ram Gskill

Il existe en effet un probleme avec les carte mere gigabyte dotées du chipset P965 et les ram Gskill en pc6400

en effet la carte mere reconnait les ram en cas 3 au lieu de cas 4 ainsi la ram ne boot pas

Ce probleme est resolu avec l'installation du nouveau bios

petit recapitulatif fait sur le site de hardware.fr

- les Gskill 2GBNS , 2GBZX, 2GBNR sont incompatibles !

- les 2GBPK semblent fonctionner

- les 2GBHZ fonctionnent

il existe cependant des solutions :

utilisation au prealable de ram comme des generiques (pc4200) pour pouvoir booter et ainsi regler les timings manuellement ou bien installer le nouveau bios

    Il faut utiliser BIOS différent (un F2 plutot qu'un F3). J'ai récemment était chez un ami qui as un X6800 (ES sample test) avec une DQ6 (Idem) avec le F2 la ZX bootait sans problème
