c'est un boitier qui peut regrouper, plusieurs moyens de contrôle, de réglage ou de commande de certaines fonctions de ton PC, qui se place dans 1 ou 2 baies 51/4 ou 31/2, et qui permet en particulier de modifier la vitesse des ventilos grâce à des rheostats ( potentiomètres) et disposant de sondes thermiques qu'on peut placer sur le composant que l'on veut surveiller, T° et vitesse s'affichant sur un petit écran LCD.
