Suite à une recherche sur le net je suis tombé sur un site ou il explique comment passé les series X51S de LiteOn en version 832S avec pour seul bémol la gravure des DVD-R en 4X contre 8X.

Mais cela a pour effet:

DVD+R : 4X à 8X

DVD-R : 4X à 4X

DVD+/-RW : 4X/2X à 4X/4X

DVD-DL : 0X à 2.4X

Avec en prime l'amélioration de la vitesse de lecture de certain support et l'amélioration de la qualité de gravure avec l'option bitsetting activé...

Si cela peut interessé quelqu'un il y a juste un firmware a downloader et c'est partie!

P.S: J'ai tester hier chez moi et mon graveur est reconnu comme un 832S. J'ai effacer un DVD-RW que j'avais graver quand il était encore en 451S et sans pb. J'ai aussi graver un Philips DVD+R en 4X et aucun soucis... J'ai pas encore pousser plus loin les tests.
