J'ai désinstallé l'ancien driver et installé celui-ci.

J'ai un message qui me dit que mon noyau est configuré pour inclure le module rivafb.

Ce qui entrainera un conflit avec le driver NVIDIA si rivabf est chargé.

En effet :

modprobe -l | grep rivafb

/lib/modules/2.6.3-13mdkcustom/kernel/drivers/video/riva/rivafb.ko

Que fait ce module, quand se charge-t-il ?

    Il est utilisé pour activer le framebuffer sur les cartes nvidia "riva" (tnt)

    ...ne le charge pas à la main et il ne se chargera pas...

    Ils te préviennent juste de ne pas le charger...
