Bonjour.

Mon ordinateur sous windows xp ne veut plus démarrer car un message d'erreur sur écran dos m'annonce que le fichier hal.dll est manquant ou corrompu. Pourtant, sur internet, ils disent que 99% du temps, ce problème est dû à une modification du fichier boot.ini, et généralement dû à un dual boot. Or, je n'ai en aucun cas installé ou essayer d'installer un autre o.s..

Quelle modification devrais je donc réaliser pour réparer cette erreur svp ? Sachez juste que j'utiliserai le live cd ubuntu pour modifier les fichiers de la partition ntfs, tel que le boot.ini par exemple.
