Bonjour à tous,

Hier, un nouveau télescope spatial dénommé "Kepler" s'est envolé de Cap Canaveral dans une fusée Delta II.

Ce télescope a la particularité d'être conçu pour détecter la présence d'exoplanètes autour d'étoiles.

L'objectif principal serait de découvrir d'ici 4 ans une ou plusieurs planètes telluriques semblables à la Terre.

Concernant cette recherche, un projet de calcul distribué dénommé "PlanetQuest" sera lancé utilisant la plate-forme "BOINC" afin d'améliorer l'analyse des données.
