J'ai un message d'erreur a l'ouverture de certains de mes divx:

Video codec 'XviD' is not handled. You might need to install additional plugins to be able to play some types of movies

ca, c'est ce que totem me sort, mais j'ai le meme probleme avec xine, vlc et mplayer

j'ai pourtant bien installe libavcodec, libavformat, w32codec, libxine1-ffmpeg

autre probleme, je n'arrive pas a installer ffmpeg

je ne sais pas si ca peut avoir un rapport (au final, je m'en fou, tant que je peux lire des videos XVID)

edit, bon, ok, j'ai du faire de la merde avec apt, divx marche pas non plus, et je presume qu'il y en a d'autres dans le meme cas.....

est-ce que quelqu'un a une idee sur l'origine du probleme ?

pour info, avec gstremaer, le message d'erreur est le suivant:

Bizarre que VLC n'arrive pas à les lire

Essaye peut être de faire le ménage et de tout réinstaller

oui, ca marche: j'ai tout desinstalle (vlc, mplayer, totem), j'ai fait un autoremove puis update/upgrade et mon probleme est maintenant regle (j'ai bien fait de retester, c'est le autoremove qui a regle le probleme)
