Salut à tous,

Voilà le topo :

- un client à moi m'a demandé de faire évoluer sa config actuelle pour de meilleurs résultats sous rendering Maya 8.5 et 3dsMax.

- il dispose actuellement d'une station de travail HP xw4400 (cf cette page dotée d'un C2D E6600 sur une mobo HP i975X (carte mère à la con...)

- j'envisage de lui proposer un Quad Core mais quid de la compatibilité ?

Bien entendu, j'ai fait quelques recherches (Google...) et j'ai fouiné sur le site HP mais les dernières MAJ de BIOS n'indiquent rien sur les Core2Quad (ici ).

Si quelqu'un a plus d'infos, je suis preneur...

    Pourquoi ne pas poser la question directement à HP ?

    Tu leur envois un petit mail et hop, tu es certain pour ton upgrade.
