Yop les gens,

Je viens d'installer une gentoo toute fraîche,

et petit "bug" de boot:

!! The root block device is unspecified or not detected.
Please specifiy a device to boot

Je met /dev/sda6 , valide et ca boote, donc pas de problème de modules. Mais bon pas super pratique :byebye:

J'ai compilé le noyo avec genkernel.

Je n'ai pas de partition de boot, tout sur /dev/sda6, en reiser.

Mon grub.conf:

title=Gentoo Linux
root (hd0,5)
kernel /boot/kernel***** root=/dev/ram0 init=linuxrc ramdisk=8192
initrd /boot/initramfs***

Des idées?

    rajoute real_root=/dev/sda6 à la ligne kernel de grub pour lui dire quelle partition utiliser pour booter
