Je suis coincé à une rsolution de merde (sur openSUSE 13.1) au secours

J'ai cherché sur internet on dirait que je suis le seul à avoir ce problème avec cette version d'openSUSE.

à priori je suis en 800 * 600, c'est ignoble (rien que pour poster ce message je souffre)

J'ai une GeForce GTX 560 TI.

Ça marchait parfaitement avec les pilotes proprio et pas trop mal avec nouveau sur la version 12.2 de openSUSE.

J'ai essayé un tas de trucs :

* ajouter nomodeset aux paramètres de GRUB2

(c'est sans effet)

* la commande nvidia-xconfig en root

(ça crée un fichier xorg.conf et c'est tout)

* ajouter mon user au groupe video

(il y était déjà)

* j'ai même tenté sax3

(quand on est désespéré on en vient à faire nawak parfois, ça résout pas le problème aussi)

Bref si quelqu'un a eu le même souci ou connait une/la solution merci d'avance.

J'aurais mieux fait de rester sur openSUSE 12.2, j'ai vraiment fait le con sur ce coup là (argh j'ai fait une typo dans le titre, je trouve pas le bouton pour le modifier).

Que donne la commande nvidia-settings ?

Sauf si tu as fait un upgrade complet rien ne t'empêche de booter sur l'ancien kernel, non ?

Que donne ton fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf et si tu as bien un fichier en rapport dans /etc/X11/xorg.d/nvidia-machinchose ?

Regarde les messages d'erreur en rapport avec ta carte dans le /var/log/messages peut-être trouveras tu une piste.

Sinon ce que je conseillerais, c'est de désinstaller les drivers nvidia et nouveau faire un update et ré-installer les drivers nvidia.

Sous Suse vous n'avez pas une équivalence au kmod-nvidia ou akmod comme sous fedora/Centos/redhat ?

De ce que je vois,

tu n'a pas de module nvidia, ni de module nouveau de charger.

pour le coup ton Xorg tu sort qu'il ne trouve pas /dev/dri/card0.

Via ton getionnaire de paquets essayer de reinstaller les driver proprietaire nvidia.

Montre nous aussi le contenu du fichier /etc/modules/blacklist.conf s'il existe :)

Je vais regarder tout ça, au point où j'en suis toutes les pistes sont bonnes à prendre.

Et oui je peux booter sur l'ancien kernel mais il semble que l'upgrade l'ait mystérieusement contaminé aussi.

Je comprend pas comment il fait pour pas trouver les pilotes nouveau sur une installation toute fraiche.

J'ai pas le répertoire modules, par contre j'ai un répertoire vide appelé modules-load.d

Je vais regarder dans le gestionnaire de paquets si quelque chose manque, et je vous tiens au courant.

Je préfèrerais laisser tomber les pilotes propriétaires pour l'instant et qu'on se concentre sur nouveau qui devrait marcher (à mon avis partout).

Je viens de regarder dans le gestionnaire et oh surprise celui ci est pas installé (donc normal que xorg le trouve pas).

Je l'installe et je reboote pour voir ce qui se passe.

C'est curieux car vos logs semblent montrer que les différents périphériques sont sous virtualbox. Est-ce une VM ? Si oui, les modules complémentaires vBox ont-ils été réinstallés ?

Je suspecte un pb de configuration de Xorg, car même avec les drivers génériques la résolution peux dépasser les 800x600.

À force de bidouiller j'ai réussi à rendre le système non bootable.

Alors j'ai remis le disque d'installation, j'ai formaté la partition système pour repartir sur des bases saines.

Maintenant la résolution semble la bonne (reste à trouver comment savoir si c'est nouveau qui est chargé (c'est pas les pilotes proprio car ils sont pas installés)).

Merci quand même pour toute l'aide fournie (même si ça a pas marché).

Il faut probablement aussi que je reconfigure le bousin, et ça me fait chier rien que d'y penser. :mad: (du coup ça va attendre demain)

Bref le sujet est à priori résolu (si quelqu'un peut modifier le titre pour moi).

Et j'ai pas lu les actus pci, :censored:

Je 'bookmarke' les liens de PyKaBoo, ça servira peut être la prochaine fois.
