Réparer une clef USB

Bonjour

j'ai un problème avec une clef usb qu'un ami à débranché pendant un formatage...

Elle est bien reconnue sous windows mais est totalement inaccessible. Message "insérer un disque dans le lecteur". Elle m'affiche aussi une capacité erroné, 0Go au lieu de 8Go.

Je suis tombé sur ce poste sur Hardware.fr.

Le problème c'est que les commandes de l'astuce "sudo mkfs.vfat -I -F 16 /dev/sda" et "sudo dosfsck -t -a /dev/sda" ne pointe pas sur le bon périphérique. /dev/sda n'est pas la clef USB...

Apparemment avec la commande dmesg je devrais trouver le bon nœud qui correspond à ma clef usb. Voila ce que j'obtiens.

J’espère avoir copié la bonne partie...
En tous cas je ne vois rien qui ressemble au nom d'un nœud...
La clef usb n’apparaît pas non plus dans "la barre des taches" à gauche de l’écran. (désolé si ça porte un autre nom)
Je ne connais rien à linux...
Je suis avec un livecd de ubuntu que j'ai téléchargé spécialement car le CD que j'avais ne fonctionnais apparemment pas avec le bios UEFI de ma CM.

Tu as formaté ton disque dur ?

Car la première c'est la commande pour formater le premier disque dur en FAT16 :bol: et la seconde pour la vérifier.

Si tu as encore tes données c'est sûrement qu'il à détecté une erreur dans ta demande car le FAT16 est limité à 2Go normalement ce qui veut d'ailleurs dire que ta clé ne peut pas être formaté en FAT16 mais en FAT32 uniquement (limite recommandé à 32 Go, possible jusqu'à 2 To).

Accessoirement il n'est pas des plus courant de formater un disque dur ou clé sans système de partition, là avec /dev/sda tu accède au disque en entier et pas à l'une de ces partitions (/dev/sda1, /dev/sda2 ...). L'option "-l" sert à formater le disque entier en outrepassant cette recommandation. Les disquettes était formatés comme cela sans partition.

A mon avis le plus simple pour faire du partitionnement / formatage depuis Linux est simplement d'utiliser gparted, c'est graphique donc tu vois plus ce que tu fais. Bien sur formater supprime les données qu'il y a dessus.

Tu peut lire la doc sur les commandes que tu entre en utilisant la commande "man (nom de la commande)".

Par exemple : man mkfs.vfat

Les "sudo" c'est une commande pour être en administrateur.

Méfie toi des commandes trouvés sur Internet, c'est pas qu'elles soit forcément malveillantes mais elles peuvent être à adapter. Par exemple pour quelqu'un qui n'a que des disques durs IDE (/dev/hda) la clé USB risque effectivement d'être nommée "/dev/sda" et vu que ça à l'air tiré d'un vieux tutoriel c'est pas très étonnant.

Sinon je donne pas cher de la clé car elle n'a l'air aussi pas bien reconnue, généralement dmesg doit afficher la taille de la clé et les partitions et le passage en mode lecture écriture (au lieu de lecture seule).

Ici ma clé est /dev/sdb, fait 8Go et à une partition /dev/sdb1

Précise aussi la distribution Linux utilisée et quelle l'interface graphique (Gnome, KDE, XFCE) car lorsque tu parles e barre des taches à gauche je vois pas trop ce que c'est.

la version c'est 13.10 je crois et l’interface c'est celle par défaut (Gnome?)

Il ya un genre de finder vertical sur le bord gauche de l’écran. un genre d’accès rapide au fonction de base et au periph de stockage.

j'ai vue dans les commentaire sur hardware.fr que dev/sda était justement le HDD principal et il était conseillé de faire dmesg pour connaitre le bon nœud... (Merci à l'auteur du commentaire d’ailleurs :chinois: )

Le truc c'est que je savais pas le déchiffré . :oops:

J'ai donc essayé badblocks -s -v /dev/sdd

J'ai cette réponse :

C'est un problème de droit et je dois simplement ajouter "sudo" ou c'est plus grave que ça?

J'ai aussi essayé sudo mkfs.vfat -I -F16 /dev/sdd

sudo permet d'avoir les droits de l'administrateur (le root) pendant X minutes.

La première commande "sudo XXX" te demandera le mot de passe de l'administrateur

Et ensuite, donc, pendant X minutes, tous les "sudo XXX" seront transparents.

Après le temps imparti, il te redemandera le mot de passe de l'administrateur

C'est pour éviter de saisir le mot de passe de l'administrateur à chaque commande "XXX" :windu:

Sinon ce n'est pas la peine de forcer: il n'y a pas de partitions sur ta clef USB (c'est le 1, 2, 3 ... après le sdb, sdd, ...)

Linux voit un gros bloc [il me semble que Linux te le dit "USB MEMORY BAR" ] :transpi:

Il faut passer par un outil graphique comme gparted et créer au moins une partition.

Ou alors sous Windows pour voir si elle est reconnue.

Si, bien sur, on parle d'installer Gparted, pas Ubuntu lui-même, ça peut se faire depuis le liveUSB, faut juste un port de libre pour brancher les deux clés.

Concernant le formatage du disque entier sans partitionnement, OpenMediaVault me l'a fait lorsque j'ai créé mon RAID. C'est un peu étrange au départ, mais on s'y fait, et le seul truc est de pas l'oublier quand tu veux le monter dans un dossier (quand l'OS est en panne, ce qui m'est arrivé au début quand je cassais tout pour un oui ou un non :transpi: )

Salut

la clé n'est pas reconnu par gparted.

Pas de /dev/sdd

ya /dev/sda, /dev/sdb, /dev/sdc mais pas /dev/sdd

Je tenterais bien le flash de la clé mais je suis pas sur que l'outil que j'ai trouvé soit le bon... Et je trouve pas de tuto pour le configurer. Y a des infos dans les réglages de l'outil qui sont pas bonne par défaut. Genre la capacité est plein d'autre truc que je sais même pas ce que sait... :fou:

Au cas ou ça intéresse quelqu'un le VID : 090C le PID : 3000 et l'outil que j'ai trouvé : SMI_SM3257ENAA_MPTool_V2.03.58_v8_K1129

La clé est une Verbatim 8Go.

Je pense qu'elle est bonne pour la poubelle.

En general les clef USB foireuse, j'applique une methode un peu brute mais pour le moment y a pas mal de succes. Attention perte de donnée inside

cfdisk /dev/sdd pour verifier l'etat des partitions et le supprimer

ensuite dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdd la tu va passé tout le bit de la clef a 0 elle sera completement vierge (tres pratique pour viré une MBR qui deconne) attention c'est long

Pour finir cfdisf /dev/sdd pour recréer ta partition

et bien un mkfs.???? pour re faire un filesysteme. ou ???? correspond au type de fs que u veux mettre (ext3, ext4, ntfs, vfat....)

Bien sur le type de partition doit correspondre au FS derriere.

oui via cfdisk tu créer ta partition tu n'oublie pas de changer le type en 0x0C je crois

puis en suite tu execute ton mkfs.vfat sur ta nouvelle partition soit /dev/sdd1 normalement

je viens d'essayer

avec cfdisk /dev/sdd j'ai une erreur fatal
